Dyasono is the alias of Anindya Kartika (Nindy), an alternative, electronic, pop songwriter and artist based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Indonesia and growing up in Malaysia, music has always been the constant in Nindy’s life.
She started writing songs in her bedroom at 15 years old as a way to process overwhelming emotions she could not express. Her writing is rooted in influences of folk, rock, and pop music with bands like Deftones, First Aid Kit and Denali.
Moving to Los Angeles in 2011, Nindy has been refining her writing and her sound into Dyasono. Her music is angsty-edgy, pop with sweet melodies and minimalistic lyrics that depict the innermost emotions felt by herself, and surely by many other people. She writes songs to make herself feel less alone, and hopes that it can do the same for others.
